Wave Glide is a one-button arcade game about rhythm and nerve. Your glowing arrow flies to the right on its own; hold anywhere and it climbs at a steep diagonal, let go and it dives. Every turn leaves a sharp neon zig-zag behind you as you thread corridors that bend, pinch and fold around spikes, blocks and spinning saws. One touch of anything solid and the run is over, but the next attempt starts the instant you crash.

Portals keep changing the rules mid-flight. Speed gates push you faster or give you a breather, slope gates make your climb steep or shallow, size gates shrink you into a tiny arrow that slips through gaps the width of a pencil line, and gravity gates flip the controls so holding sends you down. The ten handmade levels teach each idea and then mix them all, with your progress, best percentage and attempt count saved for every level and three hidden stars waiting off the safest line.

When the levels are done, the endless mode builds a fresh course every run. The corridor is generated around a path that can always be flown, and it slowly narrows and speeds up the further you get, so your distance is a true measure of skill. The daily run gives everyone the same course for the day. The music is an original synthwave track made in code, and the walls and sky pulse with its beat. With a free TapNPlay account your best distances go on the leaderboards and your progress follows you to other devices.

How to play

  1. Hold the mouse button, a finger, Space, Up or W to glide diagonally up; release to glide diagonally down.
  2. Weave through the corridor without touching walls, spikes, blocks or saws. Any touch ends the attempt and you restart at once.
  3. Fly through portals to change speed, slope, size or gravity. When gravity is flipped, holding takes you down.
  4. Reach the finish line to clear a level, and pick up its three stars along the way for a full score.
  5. In endless and daily runs, fly as far as you can: the corridor gets tighter and faster with distance.

FAQ

Is every endless course really possible?

Yes. The generator first flies a path with the same physics the game uses, then builds the walls and obstacles around it with room to spare, so there is always a way through. The room shrinks the further you get.

How do stars work?

Each handmade level hides three stars, usually just off the easiest line. Stars count once you finish the level in the same attempt, and they stay collected after that.

What is the daily run?

A generated course that is the same for every player on a given date (UTC). Your best distance that day goes on its own leaderboard, and a new course arrives the next day.
