Putt Park is a colourful top-down mini golf game that looks like a little toy course on your table. Drag back from the ball to aim, watch the dotted aim line and the power ring, and let go to putt. Every course is built from chunky plastic walls with soft shadows, and the ball rolls with real physics: it banks off walls, slows down on sand, slides forever on ice, follows the slopes and bowls drawn with arrows and shading, and drops into the cup only if it is slow enough. Hit it too hard and it lips out and rolls on.

Six courses with nine holes each take you from a calm meadow to a sunny beach with sand traps and water hazards, an icy mountain, a funfair full of bumpers and turning windmills, a factory with conveyor belts and sliding gates, and a starry night course with teleporters and one-way ramps. Each hole has a par: finish in par or better for three stars, one over for two, two over for one. Stars open the next courses and unlock eight ball designs and six trail effects. A new daily hole is picked for everyone each day, with a leaderboard for the fewest strokes.

Golf is more fun together. Play against one to three bots on easy, normal or hard, or pass one phone or tablet around for a 2 to 4 player game where everyone takes turns on each hole. Online, quick match pairs you with another player, and a private room code lets up to four friends join. Everyone putts the same hole at the same time and sees the others' balls as ghosts, with 45 seconds for each putt. The fewest strokes over six holes wins, and your online wins go on the leaderboard.

How to play

  1. Press on the ball (or anywhere on the screen) and drag back, away from where you want the ball to go. The dotted line shows the direction and the ring around the ball shows the power.
  2. Let go to putt. Drag back to the ball before letting go to cancel the shot.
  3. Get the ball into the cup in as few strokes as you can. A ball that is too fast rolls over the cup, so finish with a gentle putt.
  4. Sand slows the ball, ice keeps it sliding, arrows show which way slopes and belts push it, bumpers bounce it away and teleporters send it to their matching ring. Water costs a penalty stroke and the ball goes back to where you hit it.
  5. Finish a hole in par or better for three stars. Stars unlock new courses, balls and trails.

FAQ

How do I putt in Putt Park?

Press on the ball and drag back, the opposite way from where you want it to roll. A dotted line shows the direction and a coloured ring around the ball shows the power, from green for a soft putt to red for a full shot. Let go to hit the ball, or move back to the ball before letting go to cancel.

How do stars and unlocks work?

Each hole has a par. Finishing in par or fewer strokes gives three stars, one stroke over gives two and two over gives one. Stars add up over all 54 holes: they open the next courses once you have played through the previous one, and they unlock new ball designs and trail effects in the Balls and trails screen.

Can I play mini golf with friends?

Yes. Pass and play lets 2 to 4 players share one device and take turns on every hole. Online, quick match finds another player, or create a private room and share its four-letter code so up to four friends can join. Everyone plays the same hole at the same time and the fewest strokes over six holes wins. You can also play a whole course against one to three bots.
