Wizard Castle

Wizard Castle is a turn-based card duel between two castles. Every turn your builders make bricks, your soldiers make weapons and your wizards make crystals, and every card costs one of them. Stack walls and towers until your castle reaches 100, or throw stones, arrows and fireballs at your rival until their castle falls. Your fence soaks up hits first, so knowing when to build and when to strike is the heart of the game.

The ladder holds ten rivals, from Pip the Apprentice to Archmage Orin, each with a fixed deck and a style of their own: fast builders, archers, thieves, frost witches and dragon tamers. Beat a rival three times in a row of Novice, Adept and Master matches to open the next one. Every win lets you pick one of three new cards, and the third win of a set leans to rare and legendary ones. Lasting cards work for several turns, traps hide on your board until the enemy steps into them, and special cards steal, sabotage, swap fences or copy your rival's last move.

Collect all 110 cards and build your own deck of 30 to 40 cards in the deck builder. Then take it online: quick match a random opponent or open a private room and share its four-letter code with a friend. Online games are one match with 60 seconds per turn. A short tutorial explains everything in a minute, and your cards, deck and progress are saved automatically.

How to play

1. Each turn you play one card or discard one. Discarding gives +2 of the card's resource.
2. Builders make bricks, soldiers make weapons and wizards make crystals at the start of your turn; cards cost these resources.
3. Attacks hit the fence first, then the castle. Direct damage and poison skip the fence.
4. Win by building your castle to 100 or by bringing the enemy castle to 0.
5. Beat each rival three times to open the next one, and pick a new card after every win.
