Word Bloom
Word Bloom is a relaxing word puzzle where letters grow on the petals of a flower. Swipe from letter to letter to spell a word, let go, and if it belongs in the crossword grid above, its tiles fly up and fill in. Every level hides a handful of words made only from the letters on the wheel, from short three letter ones to the long word that uses them all. Find them all to complete the level and move on to the next garden.
The puzzles are built for each language, not translated: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Polish and Indonesian levels use common everyday words with their own letters such as Ñ, Ä, ẞ, Ł, Ç or the Turkish dotted and dotless I, Japanese levels use hiragana tiles and Korean levels use Hangul syllable blocks. Play in the language of the page or pick a different puzzle language in the settings to practise one you are learning. Levels start with four letters and grow to seven (three to five tiles in Japanese and Korean), and the scenery changes to a new garden every 20 levels.
Spell a real word that is not in the grid and it goes into your bonus jar for coins. Spend coins on a letter hint or to reveal a whole word when you are stuck, or shuffle the wheel for a fresh look, which is always free. A new daily puzzle arrives every day at midnight UTC for each language, with its own leaderboard for the fastest time. Progress is saved automatically, and with a free TapNPlay account your levels, coins and bonus words follow you to any device.
How to play
- Press and drag across the letters on the wheel to spell a word, then let go. On a keyboard you can type the word and press Enter instead.
- Words that belong in the crossword fill their tiles. Find every word to complete the level.
- Real words that are not in the grid are bonus words: each new one earns coins.
- Stuck? Shuffle the letters for free, or spend coins to reveal one letter or a whole word.
